Frontier Airlines: Go Places At Low Air Fares!

Frontier Airlines was incorporated in the year 1994 in response to the void created by the shutting down of the hub of the Continental Airlines. This is a low cost carrier of the US headquartered at Denver, Colorado. It operates flights to 74 destinations across the US and also Jamaica, Mexico, Costa Rica and the Dominican Republic. This operating brand and subsidiary of Republic Airways Holdings has its hub at the Denver International Airport. The carrier connects passengers to surrounding Rocky Mountain States through a Codeshare agreement with Great Lakes Airlines.

As a reorganization program in the year 2006 the carrier created the Frontier Airlines Holdings. In 2007 it signed an eleven year service agreement with Republic Airlines. This carrier was considered a major airliner by the United Stated Department of Transportation. In 2008 it applied for bankruptcy through Chapter 11 which gave it protection and it continues to operate its flights uninterrupted. It is offering its flight services with a fleet size of 69 to all its domestic and international destinations.

This fleet mainly consists of Airbus aircrafts and an Embraer E-190 aircraft. The in-flight snack and beverage service is offered in the flights operated by Republic Airlines in line with that offered in the mainline Frontier Airlines   flights. Direct TV and Live TV service is also provided in all its aircrafts except the Embraer aircraft. For ten years straight this carrier has been awarded the FAA Diamond award. This was in recognition of carriers whose maintenance staff and mechanics complete additional training beyond the required for normal certification.
